Jim Hinson Pools, as part of The Amenity Collective, is a premier custom gunite in-ground pool builder with over 50 years of experience in pool design, construction, and renovation. We are hiring for a President of the platform to lead all operations. Internally this position is called a Managing Partner.
The Managing Partner for Jim Hinson Brands will report directly to the platform's Chief Executive Officer and serve as a key member of the senior leadership team. The Managing Partner will be responsible for overseeing the entire operation of Jim Hinson Brands, ensuring the execution of strategic initiatives, and driving operational efficiency. The role demands a combination of strategic thinking, operational oversight, and people leadership to ensure that Jim Hinson continues to deliver exceptional service, meet financial objectives, and expand its market presence. This role will be instrumental in fostering growth and operational excellence, providing the day-to-day leadership needed to maintain high standards across the organization. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in pool construction management, operational improvement, and financial management, as well as a passion for leading teams and building strong client relationships.
This is a non-remote role. Candidates must be local to Raleigh, NC or Charlotte, NC.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet organizational goals while supplying expertise and guidance on projects, operations, and systems.

Identify growth opportunities and create strategic plans to expand market share and boost revenue.
Team Development & Management
Oversee development and execution of multi level management training programs focused on hard and soft skills, aligning with company goals.
Guide recruitment efforts to attract and retain leaders aligned with the company's vision.
Promote a positive and collaborative workplace that emphasizes teamwork, safety, and professional growth.
Field Service Excellence
Streamline customer communication.
Seek continuous improvement in service quality.
Collaborate with the sales and management teams to ensure smooth project execution and support construction partners effectively.
Account Growth & Workflow Optimization
Oversee all division operations, including project management, estimating, resource allocation, and quality control, ensuring efficiency and excellence.
Ensure process standardization across platforms to drive efficiency and growth.
Introduce yourself to potential clients, provide quotes, explain options and recommendations.
Align workflows with operational processes for maximum effectiveness.
Address inquiries from clients, employees and subcontractors regarding project scope and schedule.
Logistics & Planning
Oversee efficient route systems, ensuring compliance with schedules and tools.
Plan for vehicle and equipment acquisitions and inventory.
Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and compliance with contracts.
Project Management & Site Management
Oversee the construction of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
Understand and manage the layout and construction aspects of pool building, including elevation, grading, and overall design concept to ensure alignment with project goals and client expectations.
Safeguard projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet company standards and industry regulations.
Enforce safety and quality protocols to minimize risks and ensure compliance with company, OSHA, and client standards, as well as adherence to manufacturer specifications for all projects.
Financial Oversight
Develop and oversee branch budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Ensures that operating costs do not exceed the proposed budget.
Conducts or acquires cost analysis for development projects; prepares or delegates preparation of schedule of project completion dates.
Introduce cost-saving strategies and efficiency enhancements to boost profitability.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in swimming pool construction management.
Financial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, analyze financial data, and optimize operational costs to meet profitability targets.
Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading and developing regional teams in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. Ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve high performance.
Client Focus: Strong track record of maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and managing client relationships in a service-based industry.
Operational Expertise: Deep knowledge of operational efficiency, process improvement, and logistics within a multi-site service operation.
Business Development: Proven track record record in expanding new build and renovation contracts.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with regional teams, senior leadership, and clients. Candidates bilingual in Spanish are preferred.

LOCATION
This is an in-person role, located out of our office in Raleigh, NC or Charlotte, NC. Regional travel across the East Coast is required.
