Job Summary:
The Industrial Air Compressor Engineering Sales Manager will create, lead our sales team, drive revenue growth, and develop strategic customer relationships. This role requires a strong technical background in industrial air compressors, exceptional sales and leadership skills, and the ability to manage and inspire a sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
§ Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
§ Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team goals.
§ Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry events.
§ Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
§ Conduct site visits and assessments to recommend appropriate air compressor solutions based on customer requirements.
§ Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to clients, highlighting product benefits and features.
§ Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with company policies.
§ Provide technical support and training to customers on the operation and maintenance of air compressors.
§ Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to address customer feedback and improve product offerings.
§ Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategies.
§ Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline opportunities using CRM software.
Qualifications:
§ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
§ Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical sales and management, preferably in the industrial air compressor or related industry.
§ Strong understanding of air compression technologies and applications.
§ Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a high-performing sales team.
§ Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
§ Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
§ Ability to travel as required.
Preferred Skills:
§ Professional certifications related to sales or engineering.
§ Experience with energy efficiency and sustainability solutions in industrial applications.
§ Familiarity with various industries such as manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, food processing, and pharmaceuticals.
