Our Provider Relations team has received numerous national awards, including the National Voice of the Customer Award and for Exceptional Dentist Network Growth.

We want individuals passionate about providing outstanding service, building great relationships with our dentist community, and finding innovative solutions to help our dentists to join our best-in-class Provider Relations team. Those with provider experience and dental office experience are given first preference.
  • Establishes and executes meetings with dentists and dentist office staff across Kansas based on geographical territory.
  • Conducts targeted onsite visits, email, and/or phone call outreach, creates and/or leads dental workshops, seminars, online training sessions, lunch and learns, and webinars for educational purposes. Share, communicate, present, and distribute educational information related to Delta Dental on a local and national level. Works to grow and retain PPO and Premier networks for the purpose of increasing healthcare access for members to Delta Dental providers.
  • Represents Delta Dental at dental related meetings and functions for the purpose of promoting a positive image of Delta Dental in the industry and community.
  • Recruits' dentists for network participation and/or other Delta Dental Programs.
  • Prepares and conducts PowerPoint and other presentations at dentist offices, dental society meetings and other events.
  • Prepares reports and data analysis for review at dentist and dentist staff meetings.
  • Understands and analyzes the business, competitive environment, challenges and needs of dentists. Research, analyze and resolve complex claims issues and processing policy questions, which may include interdepartmental and/or member company collaboration.
  • Customizes complex business solutions to meet dentist needs while having a strong knowledge of the dentist's business. Complex, sophisticated solutions and innovations must be designed in a way that meets the needs of the dentist.
  • Ensures that dentist and administrative team needs are addressed and resolved quickly, personally, and responsively to ensure that dentists have best-in-class service and support.
  • Responsible for developing strong relationships with dentists, developing complex solutions and opportunities for dentists, and communicating the value proposition of DDKS to dentists.
  • Develops territory relationship-building plans, establishes dentist priorities, and executes business plan in territory.

Requirements:
  • College degree required.
  • Provider experience and dental office experience is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Data analysis
  • Public speaking skills for dentist office meetings and larger events.
  • Ability to work independently required.
  • Relationship-building, managing processes, developing budgets.
  • Knowledge of the dental industry and the insurance industry is preferred.
