JOB SUMMARY

Join our dynamic team to drive significant market awareness, pipeline generation, strategic engagement, and revenue generation with leading associations, societies and key medical industry service organizations across all major GTM motions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through leveraging strategic partnerships, developing new business opportunities, and managing relationships with key stakeholders. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in business development and a deep understanding of the associations and societies market.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy targeting associations and societies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Revenue Generation: Develop and implement strategies to generate new business opportunities, increase market share, and achieve revenue targets.
  • Pipeline Management: Oversee and maximize the new business development pipeline, ensuring effective tracking in CRM and nurturing of leads and opportunities.
  • Sales Process: Oversee pitches and proposals, working closely with assigned teams and leading strategic oversight. Lead business development strategy and execution from mining opportunities to leading RFP submission processes.
  • Partnership Development: Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic partnerships with key associations and societies. Lead negotiations and finalize partnership agreements that align with business objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within the associations and societies sector.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives and decision-makers within target associations and societies. Ensure ongoing engagement and satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product management, finance and operations, to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance brand visibility and establish the company as a thought leader in the associations and societies market.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on key performance indicators, business development activities, and outcomes. Provide regular updates to GTM and executive team.

Key Competencies and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Prior experience as a senior level with successful growth at a large organization. Extensive experience delivering and selling solutions into the Association, Society and medical industry service industries, with insight into client needs.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Demeanor: Inclusiveness, decisiveness and thoughtfulness in approach. Accountability and care in leadership.
  • Organization: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead direct report and cross-functional team members to a common goal.
  • Reputation: Industry credibility and ability to access key constituencies quickly.
  • Tech enabled: Proficient in MS365 including Word, Excel, Power Point, Excel, Outlook and Teams. Experience with CRM: (Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms (SalesLoft) a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.

Travel: Required travel will vary depending on the scope of position filled.

Compensation: Salary range $115,000 to $125,000 plus a generous bonus plan.
