RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership
Develop Leadership: Cultivate the leadership abilities of retail leaders through goal setting, delegation, training, coaching, and mentoring.
Strategic Oversight: Provide strategic leadership to retail managers, directors, and other team members.
Brand Experience: Drive a seamless brand experience across retail channels, fostering a high-performing, customer-focused culture.
Inspire Teams: Motivate teams to meet objectives related to sales, profitability, merchandise planning, customer service, and brand image.
Build Strong Leaders: Coach, train, and develop strong leaders while establishing career path strategies and retention initiatives.
Model Leadership: Demonstrate effective communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
Resource Allocation: Coordinate with business partners and allocate resources to drive business performance.
Operational Excellence: Drive productivity through best practices and continuous learning.
HR Partnership: Partner with HR to conduct semi-annual manpower meetings.

Retail Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to drive sales, profitability, and growth, informed by market trends and consumer insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to drive brand development and distribution strategies.
Merchandising & Marketing: Oversee the creative and effective execution of merchandising and marketing strategies.
Financial Management: Manage retail budgets, set sales targets, and optimize expenses to achieve financial goals.
Capex Planning: Support the financial planning of CapEx and expense budgets for real estate activities.
Retail Operations: Ensure smooth store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, staffing, and customer service.
Product Assortment: Collaborate with product planning and merchandising to align product assortment with customer demand and sales goals.
Customer Experience: Prioritize customer satisfaction and loyalty through policies, strategies, and best practices.
Omnichannel Strategy: Collaborate with e-commerce and IT teams to ensure a seamless experience between online and offline channels.
Retail Expansion: Identify store openings, remodels, and market expansion opportunities.
Employee Training: Lead training teams to ensure brand messaging and best-in-class customer experience are embedded into employee development.
Operations
Operational Excellence: Lead teams to develop and implement long-range operational strategies.
Data-Driven Decisions: Use data insights and industry trends to make strategic decisions.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety standards, and licensing regulations.
KPI Tracking: Develop and track KPIs to measure operations success, reporting progress to the executive team and board of directors.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
Experience: 10+ years in senior management and strategic retail leadership roles.
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, retail management, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Travel Requirements: Ability to travel across the U.S. and Canada as required.
Strategic Vision: Strong strategic thinker who can develop and execute long-term retail strategies and a cross-functional business approach.
