  • Customer Engagement: Actively engage with customers throughout the subscription lifecycle, ensuring they understand the value of our services.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify at-risk accounts and collaborate with Customer Engineering and Sales teams to develop strategies to reduce churn and increase renewal rates.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Accurately forecast renewals, track performance against key metrics, and report on renewal trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Customer Engineering, Sales, Support, and Product) to align strategies, improve processes, and ensure a seamless renewal experience.
  • Upsell & Cross-sell Opportunities: Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the renewal cycle, maximizing customer value and expanding our product footprint in existing accounts.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of all renewal activities, including tracking key renewal milestones and account health data in our CRM system.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve the renewal process by developing and implementing best practices, streamlining workflows, and enhancing customer communication.

REQUIREMENTS
  • 3+ years in renewals, customer success, account management, or sales within a SaaS or subscription-based business.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other customer management tools.
  • Ability to analyze data, recognize trends, and apply insights to improve the renewals process and customer experience.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams and influence without authority.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail.

Desired Skills and Experience
  • Driven and Persistent: Tenacious, resourceful, and always ready to go the extra mile to close deals and drive customer success.
  • Excellent Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate MinIO's value proposition to various stakeholders, including C-level executives.
  • Educational Background: BA or BS in computer science, business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Negotiation and Influence: Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence decision-makers and drive cross-functional collaboration during the sales process.
  • Join us at MinIO and leverage your startup experience to source and close new customers. Supported by a strong team and an exceptional product, help us transition to a sales-driven growth strategy and drive our success to new heights!
