Location: Pasco County, Florida

Direct Reports: 7 Hospice Sales Consultants

Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 (commensurate with experience), plus quarterly commissions and bonus opportunities

Overview

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Director of Business Development for a hospice care client in Pasco County, Florida. This dynamic role combines in-office work with field responsibilities, including ride-alongs, branch visits, and client interactions. This is a full-time, direct hire position reporting to the Regional Vice President and leading a team of 7 Hospice Sales Consultants.

The role will focus on driving growth in hospice services by developing strategic relationships, supporting sales consultants, and ensuring alignment with company goals. Sales management experience is required, and hospice, home health, or skilled nursing sales experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of 7 Hospice Sales Consultants, providing support and direction to enhance sales performance.
  • Participate in fieldwork, including ride-alongs with consultants and branch visits across the assigned territory.
  • Foster relationships with key healthcare clients, referral sources, and community leaders to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Vice President on strategic initiatives and sales goals.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all hospice sales initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate sales performance through CRM tools like Salesforce or similar databases.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices within hospice care.

Qualifications:
  • Sales management experience is required, preferably in hospice, home health, or skilled nursing care.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a professional sales team.
  • Must reside in Pasco County, Florida.
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar is required.
  • Spanish-speaking skills are a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills at the director level.
  • Ability to demonstrate consistent job tenure and explain gaps, if applicable.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Base Salary: $90,000 - $120,000, based on experience.
  • Commissions: 20% quarterly based on achieving goals for ADC and revenue.
  • Yearly Bonus: Up to $10,000 for hitting 100% of goals for Branch ADC & Revenue (all or nothing payout).

Note: This is an in-office and field-based position with varying weekly responsibilities.
