The Sales Development Representative is responsible for outbound sales prospecting and generating qualified new leads for the sales pipeline. The Sales Development Representative aims to deliver those qualified leads to an Account Executive to grow the business. This is a position that has rapid growth potential.
Responsibilities:
Learn company products and clearly articulate our value proposition to prospects
Develop opportunities for the sales team from outbound prospecting and marketing-generated leads.
Support inbound prospect calls and online
Interact with prospects via phone, email, and automated CRM tools (Hubspot) with high attention to detail
Use automated sales tools to track and move prospects through the pipeline
Close small new business deals and renewals
Collaborate with sales team to close more extensive new business opportunities
Coordinate meetings and product demos between prospects and Account Executives
Achieve and exceed targeted goals
Requirements:
Comfortable interacting with and prospecting to a wide range of healthcare professionals
Ability to build rapport with prospects and stakeholders remotely
Ability to quickly adapt to new technology is a must
Ability to make at least 30 calls a day on average (not an everyday requirement)
Process-driven, detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated
Ability to work within a team environment
Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills
Self-starter who has a desire to learn, grow, and excel in their role
Proficient with technology such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
