The General Manager is responsible for driving profitability and growth of the assigned branch. The ideal candidate will have strong relationship-building skills, strategic thinking, sales and operational expertise, and experience to elevate the business. Key responsibilities include planning, organizing, leading, and controlling business activities to ensure quality, safety, efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and communicate with support staff and other managers.
Collaborate with branch employees and contractors to ensure customer satisfaction.
Provide training, performance evaluations, and coaching.
Foster a cooperative sales and operations environment to meet sales goals.
Develop financial goals and strategies to increase revenue.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
Understand and promote all services offered.
Build a sales-focused organization to drive new client growth and retention.
Use CRM to manage accounts and sales activities.
Identify and organize resources to achieve objectives.
Evaluate and adjust strategies to meet company goals.
Requirements:
8-10 years of progressive experience in the moving industry.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft 360.
Strong leadership and management abilities.
Knowledge of team concepts and willingness to travel as needed.
