We are seeking a System Testing Analyst II to join our Enterprise Quality Engineering Claims team. This position plays a critical role in the application development process, ensuring that new or modified applications are thoroughly tested and ready to operate in our client environments. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to provide quality testing services and recommend improvements to testing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Testing & Quality Assurance
Participate in project design phases to ensure testing methodologies are correctly applied.
Review test data, create test cases, execute tests, and document results.
Provide mentorship and guidance to testing staff.
Administrative & Client Support
Collaborate with clients and IS staff to optimize technical resources.
Track quality assurance metrics and report on progress.
Plan and delegate tasks to team members while maintaining quality standards.
Recommendations & Process Improvements
Make recommendations to clients on improving testing activities.
Enhance and document testing processes for better efficiency and accuracy.
Must-Have Skills
Technical Expertise:
Manual Testing
Test Case Development
Required Abilities:
Strong project planning, organization, and management skills.
Thorough understanding of debugging application/environmental problems and system migrations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in MS Word.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Testing & Technical Proficiency:
Backend database and API testing experience.
Claims industry experience.
Knowledge of Java, WebSphere, DB2, Oracle, IMS, and VSAM.
Familiarity with whitebox testing, integration testing, static testing, and 508 compliance testing.
Preferred Business Knowledge:
Business analysis skills.
Experience with managed care, PIMS, PCMH, and DataLake.
Onsite Schedule: Partial onsite role, requiring attendance on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (and as needed) in Columbia, SC.
