We're hiring a Desktop Support Specialist (Level 3) for a fully on-site contract-to-hire role in Calabasas. This position involves advanced technical support, IT infrastructure projects, and virtual environment management in a tech-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and resolve advanced technical issues involving desktops and IT systems.
Support IT infrastructure initiatives with expertise in infrastructure operations.
Oversee and optimize virtual desktop environments.
Manage system configurations and user access using Microsoft tools and Active Directory.
Utilize Cisco and Citrix solutions to support daily operational needs.
Provide support for Apple devices, Mac computers, and other hardware systems.
Implement deployment strategies and maintain configuration management processes.
Contribute to Android development tasks as required.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders through clear written and verbal skills.
Apply project management principles to ensure IT projects are delivered efficiently.
Drive improvements in organizational infrastructure through strategic IT contributions.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in advanced desktop support or similar IT roles.
Strong expertise in Android development.
Comprehensive knowledge of Cisco technologies.
Familiarity with Citrix platforms is a plus.
Ability to diagnose and repair issues related to Mac computers.
Proficiency with Microsoft systems and applications.
Extensive experience with Active Directory.
Hands-on experience supporting Apple devices and related hardware.
Strong skills in managing hardware-related issues.
Solid background in configuration management and deployment processes.
Proven ability to contribute to organizational infrastructure improvements.
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken formats.
Background in IT project management with successful project execution.
Expertise in virtual desktop technologies and environments.
