A Project Engineer has technical responsibilities for our engineered packages throughout the project execution lifecycle. The main goal for project engineers within our organization is to serve as technical support for the project management team. Project engineers may also assist the quotations team on the preliminary design of the integrated power systems we propose to clients and then lead the detailed design review of these systems Project engineers are critical to making sure we offer technically and commercially viable solutions, and to helping manage the technical aspects through drawing reviews of the many different equipment packages. In addition, project engineers will be called on to figure out myriad technical issues that arise during design and commissioning. For example, a project engineer may help figure out why a HVAC system is not blowing cold air, why fire alarms do not activate as designed, find replacement parts for a discontinued item or any other number of urgent issues that may surface during a project. Project engineers may assist in factory testing and field commissioning of our integrated electrical packages.
