We are seeking a passionate and experienced General Manager to oversee operations and financial performance at a distribution center, responsible for packaging and distribution of aftermarket marine and OPE products. This role reports to the Vice President of Aftermarket and involves managing client needs in a fast-paced, complex environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive operational and financial results through strategic planning, resource allocation, and performance evaluation.
Lead weekly operations calls, reviewing sales, variances, margins, inventory, and headcount.
Implement plans, monitor progress, and make adjustments as necessary to meet objectives.
Develop long-term strategies and ensure alignment across departments (procurement, production, marketing).
Maintain quality and safety standards, ensuring compliance with environmental and social responsibilities.
Build relationships with key customers, suppliers, and community organizations.
Foster accountability for operational performance across the organization.
Collaborate with management to meet financial goals, including budgeting and forecasting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).
10+ years in manufacturing/packaging with at least 3 years in a management role with P&L responsibility.
Proven experience in plant safety (EHS), operational planning, and budget management.
Strong financial and operational acumen.
