Assist in estimating and preparing bid proposals and work plans by reviewing project scope.
Define project parameters such as scope, duration, resources, and costs, determining optimal approaches for achieving project goals.
Manage projects including scheduling, tracking, issue, risk, and change management, along with contract and financial management, stakeholder engagement, permit coordination, and reporting.
Act as project manager for projects ranging from small to large scale, valued between $10M to $100M.
Cultivate positive relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction with project progress and quality.
Provide timely and accurate reports to management and clients.
Utilize industry relationships to identify bid opportunities and maintain existing client connections.
Gather client feedback for process improvement, fostering continuous enhancement.
Participate in team and safety meetings.
Adhere to Corporate Drug and Alcohol Policy.
Work in a climate-controlled office environment 40% of the time, with occasional outdoor work in varying weather conditions and exposure to industrial equipment and hazardous chemicals.
Perform tasks involving prolonged sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and crouching.
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to meet deadlines efficiently.
Profound understanding of heavy industrial construction practices, codes, and regulations.
Familiarity with process plants and equipment.
Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong organizational and planning abilities.
Proficiency in estimating, scheduling processes, and blueprint reading.
Competency in PC usage, MS Office, and Excel.
Possession of a valid driver's license and adherence to Company driving policy.
Minimum 10 years of experience managing complex projects in private and public sectors.
Minimum 10 years' experience as a project manager overseeing projects exceeding $10M in value.
Experience in managing project teams and subcontractors, preferably in heavy industrial sectors.
Familiarity with various contract conveyance methods such as lump sum, design-build, and CMAR.
