We are seeking an experienced and charismatic Maître d' to oversee and enhance our operations as a key ambassador of exceptional service and hospitality, responsible for ensuring an extraordinary dining experience for members and their guests.
This role oversees the dining room operations, manages the front-of-house team, and upholds the club's high standards of professionalism, etiquette, and personalized service. The ideal candidate will ensure impeccable service, manage the front-of-house team, and exceed our members' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Member and Guest Experience:
Welcome members and guests warmly, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.
Address and resolve any member's concerns promptly and professionally.
Maintain detailed knowledge of members' preferences, special requests, and seating arrangements.
Dining Room Operations:
Oversee all front-of-house activities, including reservations, seating, and table assignments.
Coordinate with Culinary Team to ensure smooth service flow and timely food delivery.
Monitor dining areas to maintain cleanliness, organization, and ambiance.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and mentor front-of-house staff to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
Develop and implement schedules to ensure appropriate coverage during service hours.
Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
Assist in training new staff members on proper service standards and procedures.
Event Coordination:
Work closely with the events team to manage private parties, banquets, and special club events.
Ensure all events are executed with precision and in alignment with club standards.
Standards and Compliance:
Conduct pre-service meetings with staff to discuss specials, menus, and important details.
Enforce adherence to club policies, service standards, and health and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records, including reservations, incident reports, and feedback logs.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Maître d', restaurant manager, or similar role in fine dining or private clubs.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with reservation management systems and basic Microsoft office software.
Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, wine pairing, and menu offerings.
