Job Summary:
The In-Room Dining Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the in-room dining service, ensuring guests receive an impeccable experience in a timely, professional, and courteous manner. You will lead and guide a team of in-room dining attendants, maintaining Casa Cipriani's high standards of service, while managing guest requests, coordinating orders, and ensuring smooth communication between departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, train, and motivate a team of in-room dining attendants to provide exceptional service to our guests.
Oversee daily operations of the in-room dining department, ensuring all guest orders are completed accurately and promptly.
Ensure that all in-room dining orders are presented beautifully, according to Casa Cipriani's standards.
Monitor and manage the quality and cleanliness of in-room dining trays, carts, and equipment.
Act as the main point of contact for all guest inquiries, ensuring the highest level of satisfaction is achieved.
Collaborate with kitchen staff and other departments to fulfill special requests, dietary requirements, and ensure timely delivery of orders.
Maintain a strong knowledge of the menu and beverages and offer recommendations when necessary.
Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution.
Assist with inventory management, ensuring adequate stock of in-room dining supplies and reporting any shortages.
Adhere to health and safety standards, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Support the In-Room Dining Manager with scheduling, performance evaluations, and staff development.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in luxury hospitality or food & beverage services.
Previous experience in event organization & management.
Strong understanding of in-room dining operations and guest service standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a diverse team.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality or food & beverage certifications are a plus.
