Exercise and Wargame Planner | Make an Impact with Anglicotech!
We seek an Exercise and Wargame Planner who will thrive in a challenging, rewarding, process-oriented environment supporting Operations, Activities, and Interests (OAIs) across the vast United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) region. This person will be expected to plan and execute various exercises to enhance readiness, test capabilities, and improve coordination among
military units, government agencies, and international partners. This person will be a critical component of coordinating joint exercises to promote interoperability and coordination among different services, foster collaboration with allies and partners, and exercise tactics, techniques, and procedures for rapidly pivoting from the steady-state environment of competition and campaigning to potential crisis and contingency response operations.

This position is located in Pearl Harbor, HI.
Salary:
A salary range of $83,500 - $137,500 is available for this position commensurate with education, years of experience, and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
Apply expertise and experience with the warfighting functions, Course of Action (COA) analysis, strategy development, and organizational processes/procedures to design exercises that enable participants to rehearse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) during large, multi-domain, multi-national exercises.
Organize exercises to assess and validate the readiness of military units, including deployment, sustainment, and force protection through realistic scenarios that test the ability to execute specific missions or activities.
Work with government planners to provide exercise support and wargaming capabilities with an emphasis on interoperability, effectiveness, efficiency, and coordination among different services and allied/partner nations.
Participate in the design, execution, and delivery of analytic tasks associated with exercises to include identifying and shaping objectives, developing Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) exercise injects, authoring scenarios, facilitating participant discussions, promoting regional security cooperation, authoring after action reports and documenting lessons learned.
Develop courses of action for the employment of improvised threats.
Support scenario development for trends impacting humanitarian assistance, disaster relief, and countering or deterring threat networks and hybrid threats.
Deliver unique insights and actionable responses to tactical, cultural, environmental, political, economic, and social trends in the USINDOPACOM AOR.
Lead role-playing to provide simulated media messaging and subject matter expertise as senior national leaders, U.S. Embassies, Federal and State Government organizations, media, other Governments, the United Nations, and non-governmental organizations during Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) events.
Security Clearance:
US Citizenship required
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security clearance at the minimum level of Secret
Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree in Political Science, Government, International Relations, National Security Affairs/Policy, Disaster Management, Homeland Security or similar fields
3+ years of experience in DoD planning
Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience with DoD and/or foreign nations
10+ years of experience in national security planning
Master of Arts or Science Degree in the above-listed fields
Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work
Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
