The Vice President of Manufacturing will oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations across multiple facilities, ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in food or chemical manufacturing, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.
The VP of Manufacturing will have the following responsibilities:
Oversee manufacturing operations several manufacturing plants across North America. This includes everything from production, quality control, maintenance, and supply chain management.
Develop and implement manufacturing strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality.
Assess the organization's capital requirements and collaborate with plant teams to determine the most strategic and efficient allocation of capital resources.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including food safety, health, and safety standards.
Collaborate with other departments, including R&D, Sales, and Marketing, to support product launches and business growth.
The VP of Manufacturing should have the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum of 15 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role within the food or chemical manufacturing industries.
Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
