Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized Administrative Assistant to support the owner of a women's apparel retail store. This role involves a mix of administrative, operational, and creative tasks to ensure the smooth running of daily operations and assist with the growth and success of the store. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. The candidate will be based out of our headquarters, which is located near the downtown McKinney area.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
Manage the owner's calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
Handle emails, phone calls, and correspondence on behalf of the store owner.
Maintain and organize files, documents, and records.
Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as required.
Retail Operations Assistance:
Assist with inventory management, including ordering, PO entries, tracking, and stock organization.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely deliveries and updates.
Support in monitoring store sales and performance metrics.
Customer Relations:
Respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
Maintain a customer database and assist with loyalty programs and outreach efforts.
Coordinate special events, promotions, and marketing campaigns.
Social Media and Marketing:
Occasional support with the Social Media and Marketing team as directed
Keep up-to-date with fashion trends to provide creative input on marketing and merchandising.
General Support:
Perform errands such as picking up supplies or deliveries when needed.
Provide hands-on assistance in the store during busy periods or special events.
Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting store environment.
Perform any additional functions as instructed by leadership.
Occasional travel to markets with leadership is mandatory and defined in advance.
