The Town of Masardis is accepting applications for a Road Commissioner. Qualified candidates must be able to perform semi-skilled manual labor in the operation of light and moderately heavy trucks and motorized equipment in support of the highway department's road maintenance and construction activities, including snow and ice removal. Previous experience in the operation of light and heavy equipment, road construction and maintenance, and snow plow with wing operations are preferred. Mechanical skills are a plus. Sufficient educational background and physical ability to perform related duties is required. Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Class B/CDL license with no traffic violations are essential. The successful candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing and a preemployment physical. This is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance, vision and dental, vacation, earned sick time and paid holidays.
