Job Summary:
The Senior Consultant is part of the greater People & Technology (P&T) team playing a pivotal role in leading client engagements and managing large scale and/or complex projects. The role leverages expertise to provide strategic advice, deliver high-impact solutions, and drive results for clients. This role may involve mentoring consultants, guiding project execution, and ensuring the successful delivery of consulting services.
Workforce Absence Management (WAM) is a division of P&T, and the Senior Consultant role provides absence management consulting services involving short- and long- term disability, workers' compensation, statutory disability/paid family and medical leave, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Sick/Vacation/Paid-Time-Off.
Independently, and as a team, works with clients on various absence management programs to analyze business requirements and design and implement solutions to fit absence program design, processes/function, intra-program coordination, and vendor management needs.
This role also conducts analytical evaluations on data received from carriers and employers related to workers' compensation, short- and long- term disability, FMLA/leave of absence, and sick/vacation/PTO plans and may conduct leave vendor identification (RFPs/RFIs) and implementations.

Project Leadership: Lead and manage consulting projects from inception to completion. Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines.
Solution Development: Design and implement comprehensive strategies and solutions based on data analysis, research, and client requirements. Ensure solutions are practical and aligned with client objectives.
Data Analysis and Research: Conduct advanced data analysis and research to uncover insights and inform strategic recommendations. Utilize various tools and methodologies to interpret complex information.
Presentation and Reporting: Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations, reports, and other deliverables for clients and stakeholders. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively. May participate in external speaking engagements.
Business Development: Contribute to business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and participating in client pitches. Support the growth of the consulting practice.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and accuracy of deliverables. Review work produced by team members and provide constructive feedback.
Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Advocate for and implement process improvements within the consulting team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, Technology, or a related field.
Six to eight years of professional experience in area of specialty (HR, technology, compensation, absence management, etc.)
Advanced experience in managing client relationships and large-scale projects.
Previous leadership experience highly desirable.
Previous consulting experience highly desirable.
