Position: Project Manager
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Range: 75-100k
How will you make a difference to Kelvin?
The Kelvin installations team is writing the rulebook for large-scale hardware deployment. You will be the driving force of project progress both from the office and out in the field. You will spend your week coordinating meetings, maintaining schedules and performing hands-on field visits. The ideal candidate brings a high-degree of ownership and is able to prioritize effectively and create value in a complex landscape.
What You'll Do
Represent the Kelvin Installations team both out in the field and within an office environment
Act on initiative and take full ownership of project success from contract signing to final delivery
Coordinate project meetings, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned with project goals, timelines, and deliverables
Foster strong relationships with building owners, Subcontractors and internal stakeholders
Ensure the schedule for install appointments is maintained correctly and communicated effectively to Subcontractors and building owners
Monitor ongoing internal communication regarding surveying and manufacturing, and delivery, ensuring project schedules are maintained accurately
Build a culture of trust with our partners by providing timely and accurate Project updates on a regular basis
Monitor and manage logistics to ensure timely delivery and on-site storage of finished products at the building site
Perform hands-on installation tasks in the field on a regular basis. Including but not limited to receiving deliveries, installing Cozys, installing Gateways, and installing Hybrid Units
What you will bring to the role:
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Ability to travel 60% of the time within the NYC metro area
Proven track record (6+ years) in successfully managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
Effective communication skills, capable of interacting with technical and non-technical teams and customers
Detail-oriented mindset and ability to ensure precision in project execution
Familiarity with procurement processes and supply chain management
Proficiency in project management software tools
Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges
Leadership skills and the ability to drive collaboration among cross-functional teams
Ability to carry, move or life products over 50 pounds
Ability to operate manual handling equipment such as manual pallet trucks
Strong computer skills and complete comfort working within G-suite
Experience in HVAC, construction, or building-related projects is a plus
PMP Certification is a plus
