Job Description:

Our client is a third-party administration (TPA) firm specializing in multi-employer benefit plan administration. They aim to create a state-of-the-art, fully integrated benefit management platform to meet our clients' needs.

Our client wants to hire a Data Entry Operator for their team. Under the general supervision of the department manager and the immediate supervisor, the data entry operator performs processing activities related to employer reports and self-payments, requiring occasional assistance with non-routine duties.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Process checks for daily deposits, ensuring all payments are entered accurately.
  • Enter and balance employer reports and self-pay remittances promptly.
  • Use basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, to find and process employer-reporting discrepancies and errors.
  • Index documents continually for electronic retrieval.
  • Create and maintain member records as needed.
  • Release and post-balanced batches.
  • Must show continuous improvement, the ability to increase the workload volume, and the ability to work independently and as a productive team member.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of essential office equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to keep calm and positive within all communications.
  • Must be proficient in 10-key by touch.
  • Proven ability to have a professional appearance with excellent verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, and staff in other departments.
  • Requires excellent grammar, letter composition, punctuation, and other related office skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal staff and external clients.
  • Proven ability to accurately and timely review all entered information
  • Demonstrates initiative, good concentration, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task.
  • Utilize computer and phone systems to be able to perform the essential functions of the position effectively.
  • Requires a dependable attendance record
