We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will assist with implementing and supporting new and existing technologies, providing superior technical support, and contributing to application development in a hybrid-Agile environment.
Job Title: Jr. Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Onsite - Des Moines, Iowa, United States
Duration: 9-Month Contract (Potential for Extension) (CTH)
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with production implementation and support of technologies.
Provide exceptional customer service via calls, emails, and instant messages.
Collaborate directly with business partners to identify, research, design solutions, and resolve technical issues.
Learn and contribute to the functionality, usability, design, security, and operation of supported systems.
Conduct independent and collaborative research to provide solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Potentially participate in application development using platforms like Microsoft Power Suite, AWS, Salesforce, etc.
Communicate technical concepts effectively to stakeholders and collaborate across teams.
Train and educate users while implementing preventative technical measures.
Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in technology, science, engineering, math, or equivalent work experience.
Relevant internship or experience in IT customer service, IT support, or troubleshooting.
Strong problem-solving and conceptual skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
Interest or experience in application development with platforms such as Microsoft Power Suite, AWS, or Salesforce.
Excellent planning, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and time management skills.
Ability to maintain high accuracy and confidentiality.
Strong communication skills and adaptability to work with various stakeholders.
Basic knowledge of insurance and financial services products is a plus.
