Job Description:

Looking for a Scrum Master to guide the team to follow Agile/Scrum practices and daily activities to actively promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint and Program Increment.

Responsibilities:

  • Experience in Agile Scrum, preferably as a Scrum Master.
  • Working experience with Scrum teams.
  • Preferred experience in Product Development.
  • Coach the team to address any issues with the Agile/scrum process. Instill an "Inspect & Adapt" culture within the team.Facilitates and is accountable for leading the team through the agile ceremonies.
  • Daily scrums, Sprint demos, Retrospectives, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning,PI Planning
  • Manages team workload, and reaches out to their managers or Product Management when needed to negotiate time.
  • Manages dependencies across other Agile teams, regularly working with the other scrum masters and Program Manager/RTE.
  • Works closely with the Product Owner, Product Analysts, and Solutions Lead in ensuring sprints are healthy and work is effectively delivered by the team.
  • Owns the Jira project and handles the management of all issues in Jira for the team. Uses metrics in Jira, including burn up/down charts, release burndowns, and team.
  • Velocity to assess team health and identify improvement opportunities. Uses Jira to track team and team members' capacity based on tangible metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of previous Agile Coaching or Scrum Master experience, with deep knowledge of all Scrum roles and Scrum ceremonies.
  • Experience implementing Agile techniques in different cultures and environments with projects of varying size and complexity. Demonstrated understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, Test Driven Development, and Continuous Testing & Integration. Coaching new and existing teams in Scrum and/or Kanban/Scrumban best practices, so teams can meet sprint and release goals and mature in agile practices.
  • Knowledge of or experience in a scaled agile environment (preferred).
  • Hands on experience with some type of agile tooling: JIRA, AgileCraft, VersionOne, TFS.
  • Experience in scaled Agile (SAFE).
  • Agile Certification (preferred), Certified Scrum Coach (CSC), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Certified Agile Coach (PMI-ACP, ICA-ACC).
