About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join the OPUS Interior team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of interior construction projects. You will lead project teams, manage resources, and act as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation. Define project objectives and deliverables.
  2. Budget Management: Create and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control. Prepare and evaluate cost estimates.
  3. Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, set milestones, and adjust timelines as needed to meet deadlines.
  4. Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate labor, equipment, and materials to optimize productivity and minimize delays.
  5. Client Communication: Act as the primary liaison for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and project updates while ensuring client satisfaction.
  6. Team Leadership: Assemble and lead project teams, assigning responsibilities and providing direction to project staff, subcontractors, and vendors.
  7. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to prevent disruptions and ensure project success.
  8. Quality Control: Ensure construction work meets specifications and quality standards through inspections and quality control processes.
  9. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment for all team members.
  10. Procurement: Manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and services, ensuring timely delivery and cost-efficiency.
  11. Change Management: Handle change orders and assess their impact on project scope, budget, and schedule.
  12. Documentation: Maintain organized and accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, RFIs, and daily logs.
  13. Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular project reports to clients, senior management, and other stakeholders.
  14. Problem Solving: Resolve project-related issues and challenges promptly and efficiently.
  15. Environmental and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and local building codes.
  16. Closeout Procedures: Oversee project closeout, including final inspections, client handover, and completion documentation.
  17. Technology Utilization: Utilize construction management software to streamline project workflows, communication, and data management.
  18. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with local authorities, community members, and stakeholders.
  19. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and innovation in project delivery.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, interior design, engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in the interior construction industry.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and interior construction best practices.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
