This position is considered office-first. An office-first employee can flex between in-office work and working from home based on personal or professional need, at the discretion of their supervisor. An office-first employee maintains an office presence at least three days per week at their designated Scooter's Coffee office location. Scooter's Coffee is headquartered in Omaha, NE. The successful candidate lives in Omaha, NE. Relocation is not available for this role.

Description

As Director of Workflow and Menu Strategy, you will own the menu strategy, store equipment and vendor relationship management, and deployment of store level processes, equipment and production to drive store level speed, profitability and an amazing customer experience. You will provide strategic cross functional leadership and tactical execution for Scooter's Coffee menu and product offerings including innovation, mix management, menu planning and costs, preparation and presentation of offerings, and adherence to quality and safety standards. You will own store equipment usage and maintenance standards and support, as well as vendor relationships management. You and your team will lead the company wide deployment of store level processes, equipment and production. All of your work will drive incremental customer acquisition and sales while maintaining our brand promise of Amazing People serving Amazing Drinks, Amazingly Fast.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Leads Menu Strategy and Development: Drives the evolution of the menu and strategic direction, from pipeline development to validation, utilizing the Stage Gate process for effective decision-making.

Drives Innovation with Culinary and Strategic Insight: Leverages culinary expertise to craft forward-thinking strategies and innovative solutions that seamlessly balance a long-term vision with actionable short-term outcomes, ensuring a meaningful impact on both consumer satisfaction and business growth.

Leverages Insights for Strategic Direction: Uses consumer insights, competitive analysis, and menu trends to guide both strategic and tactical decisions, fostering a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences.

Inspires Organizational Support: Engages and energizes team members at all levels to rally behind new menu innovations, ensuring alignment and enthusiasm in bringing concepts to life.

Builds High-Performing, Collaborative Teams: Demonstrates strong leadership in developing high-performing, collaborative, cross-functional teams that are committed to achieving shared objectives.

Leads and Develops Menu Team: Provides strategic guidance, mentorship, and support to the menu team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability while empowering team members to achieve excellence in menu development and execution.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or related, comparable executive experience in leading large cross functional programs including field deployment.
  • 5+ years director level leadership experience in a fast-paced, growing organization or QSR format.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate cross-functionally to develop and implement tactics and strategically drive innovation and quality.
  • Strong experience and expertise leading full-scale deployments in a consumer driven organization.
  • Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and drive improved performance and KPIs from outside partners.
  • Excellent relationship building skills with ability to communicate and collaborate across all organizational levels.
  • Knowledge and experience of directing product development processes and deployment.
  • Demonstrated history of success in leading financial KPI drivers and P&L management.
  • Ability to travel minimum 10% of time
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
