12-18 Month W2 Contract, Potential for FTE conversion
W2 Pay $70-80/hr depending on experience; paid for hours worked (No PTO/Holiday Pay)
Expected 40 hours per week, 3 days on-site, 2 days remote
Position Summary • Looking for strong talent to join our team as the product owner, coordinate Authentication Hub development team with the clients and line of business to successfully deliver the projects on time. • Responsible for maximizing the value for a product. • Defines the vision and roadmap for the product, defining and prioritizing stories in the product backlog, and articulating this to both stakeholders and the development team. • Works closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, and with the Product Manager in a scaled Agile model to ensure there is alignment. • Possess a working knowledge of the product, and basic understanding of the business or technology domain. • With some guidance, creates the vision and roadmap for the product to align with strategic direction for the business or technology domain. • Communicates the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and the team. • Collaborates with stakeholders to understand their needs and problems. • Creates and prioritizes work for one team. Learning to collaborate with cross-functional teams. • With some guidance, creates and prioritizes stories in the product backlog. • Refines stories with the team to ensure there are enough ready stories to load the next 1-2 sprints. • Reviews and accepts stories and is empowered to make on-the-spot decisions on scope and requirements. • Works in partnership with the team to ensure that optimum value is obtained through technology and through an advanced understanding of the business. • Individual contributor.
Required Skills • 5+ years relevant work experience as a Product Owner with business and technology projects including process improvement/re-engineering and technology change efforts • Experience as the BA or PO for team that supports authentication of users • Knowledge of project tools - Jira & SharePoint Required • Experience with and knowledge of Agile project management methodology • Experience participating/driving PI Product Increment - planning • Process design oriented • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to facilitate meetings, capture key outcomes/actions and own product documentation • Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio • Strong decision making skills with an assertive and proactive communication style • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) and active listening skills • Must be proficient in data management to include strong data analytic capability • Must have strong organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks • Enthusiastic, energetic, determined and positive - especially under pressure • Critical thinker and risk minded
Preferred Skills • Experience as a BA or PO for a large financial company is preferred • Experience with BioCatch • Experience with Micro Focus Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) system (previously HP) • Scrum Master experience • Agile SAFe certification • Document management or workflow experience
