Summary:
The main function of a Systems Administrator is to be responsible for system administration of core systems as well as monitoring and repair of high performance computing systems. Ensures consistent and reliable operation including enterprise servers and network infrastructure. This hands-on role will be accountable for collecting and rationalizing business requirements, creating future state designs, writing user stories and more across various business areas.
Job Responsibilities: • Provides wide range of Salesforce system administration in a multi-platform environment • Responsible for general Salesforce systems administration tasks including system configuration management, OS installations, security updates, and urgent system patching • Writes and implements scripts to automate tasks • Ability to identify and troubleshoot Salesforce components that are problematic • Performs daily Salesforce system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all server resources, network disruption awareness and predefined key processes • Conduct testing to validate platform is functioning as expected • Support the management of Salesforce roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups needed • Evaluate and install new Salesforce releases • Reviews system logs, application logs and security logs
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required • 0-2 years experience required • Proven work experience as a system or network administrator • Proficiency in Microsoft Word is highly preferred • Knowledge and skills as a Salesforce System Administrator are a plus.
