An innovative and growing company in the advanced manufacturing sector is seeking a highly motivated Contracts and Administration Manager to join their team. This pivotal role will support the establishment of a new Seattle office and contribute to the growth of local operations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in contract management, administrative support, and a passion for building organizational processes. This is a full-time, permanent position based out of Seattle, Washington and will require regular, on-site work.
Key Responsibilities:
Contracts Management:
Draft, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and other legal documents in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and other applicable laws.
Monitor contract performance, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure alignment with company objectives.
Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries and negotiations.
Office Management and Administrative Support:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the Seattle office, ensuring a smooth and efficient work environment.
Assist in onboarding new team members and setting up office infrastructure.
Coordinate with the leadership team to support organizational needs, including scheduling meetings and managing communications.
Maintain and improve office policies, procedures, and operational systems.
Team Building and Collaboration:
Act as a key contributor to building the Seattle-based team, supporting recruitment efforts and fostering a positive work culture.
Collaborate closely with corporate leadership to align on company-wide initiatives and ensure seamless communication.
Qualifications:
Must meet ITAR compliance requirements to handle sensitive data and materials.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, legal studies, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in contracts management or a similar role, with exposure to office administration.
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, including ITAR and other export control laws.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with contract management software is a plus.
Self-starter with the ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Benefits:
Starting base salary of $79,000 - $95,000 annually, DOE
