Senior Project Manager:
Oversee larger, more complex projects, and work closely with senior leadership to ensure strategic objectives are met.
10 years min experience managing PMs/APMs
Projects: Supermarket, restaurant, big box OR data center & hospital
Essential Responsibilities:
Establishes project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contract specifications. Confers with supers and foremen to discuss such matters as work procedures and construction issues.
Prepares a two week look ahead schedule for all trades to hold them accountable.
Monitors all schedules and budgets for project through administrative direction of on-site Foremen to ensure project is completed on schedule and within budget.
Investigates potentially serious situations and implements corrective measures in a proactive manner.
Represents company in all project meetings, attends strategy meetings and conducts weekly trade coordination meetings.
Works with project team to manage financial aspects of contract.
Requirements/Qualifications:
10+ years' project management experience in construction industry, preferably in retail or commercial construction, supermarket or restaurant experience is required for Sr. Project Manager.
Capable of working with tight deadlines and excellent time management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Ability to manage a team.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Proficiency with computers: Microsoft Office; knowledge of Microsoft Projects is preferred and Procore is a plus.
