Anyware Robotics is seeking a robotic technician to join our team and play a key role in supporting our robot testing and shop management. You will work closely with our developers and deployment team, push the robot performance to the new frontier. This is an opportunity to apply your enthusiasm in robotics and machines in the real world! Responsibilities:Robotic Testing: Daily test of the Pixmo robot system in various environments. Managing the latest test code release and raise potential performance issues after the test. Draft test report to corresponding development teamShop management: Managing the test space and workshop for safety, inventory, standard compliance, and tidiness. Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, hardware inspections and replacements. Perform repairs for light-duty tools, 3D printers, etc.Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing feedback to internal teams, including hardware, electrical, software teams, and product. RequirementsBS in engineering major or related fields. Enthusiasm for robots, machines, and strong learners.Able to work independently and with minimal supervision. Ability to travel 15% of your time maybe required.Basic knowledge with Linux/Unix and/or Robot Operating System (ROS); Python or Linux experience is a plus.Strong communications and project management skills to recognize, communicate, and properly document product issues and necessary improvements.
