Position Overview The Traveling Superintendent will oversee construction projects at various sites, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires extensive travel to different project locations and strong leadership skills to manage on-site teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects from start to finish
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
Manage on-site construction teams and subcontractors
Conduct regular inspections and assessments of project progress
Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules and budgets
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry
Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Willingness to travel extensively to various construction sites
A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
Experience in Commercial or Industrial Construction is a plus
