Senior Municipal Project Manager Position Overview The Senior Municipal Project Manager will oversee and manage municipal construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and an in-depth understanding of construction processes and municipal regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple municipal construction projects simultaneously
Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules in collaboration with stakeholders
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and government agencies
Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet objectives
Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and quality of work
Prepare and present project updates and reports to stakeholders
Resolve any issues that arise during the construction process
Mentor and support junior project managers and team members
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in municipal construction
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects
Strong knowledge of municipal construction regulations and standards
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
Proficiency in project management software and tools
