Position Overview TIC is searching for a District Scheduling manager to support our increasing work in the industrial market. Our rapidly growing Industrial market encompasses a a broad range of projects that can span from Water/Wastewater treatment, Food & Beverage processing, Mineral Processing, Renewable Fuels, Pulp and Paper, Steel & Aluminum, Specialty chemical, Industrial Energy, Manufacturing, Automotive and Emerging Industrial Markets like EVBattery, Data Centers and Semiconductors.
District Overview TIC - The Industrial Company is a subsidiary of Kiewit Corporation that provides direct-hire construction services for industrial projects. TIC Denver operates in power, industrial manufacturing, mining, and oil, gas and chemical markets across the United States. Its projects range from small capital work to comprehensive EPC solutions. We are looking for people committed to the construction industry in an "open-shop" environment.
Location This position is based out of our Lone Tree, Colorado HQ
Responsibilities
Develop resource loaded quantity driven schedules, including lists of activities, major milestones, critical approvals, long lead procurement items and other critical project deliverables to be scheduled and tracked for the projects.
Be experienced on scope breakdown from the estimate file and create meaningful manhour loaded schedules.
Track the contract document requirements for schedule adherence, as well as change orders and contract amendments
Interpret performance curve data and forecast productivity; provide manpower information for forecasting
Prepare standards for the scheduling team to bring all team members on the same page
When required, work with a team of schedulers to support all sizes of engineering design and construction projects to ensure all aspects of the project schedule maintain the highest level of quality and accuracy.
Coordinate with project team to develop revision or recovery schedules as needed
Prepare written narratives for all schedule submittals
Coordinate the development, maintenance, and review of discipline and project schedules
Qualifications
Full understanding of P6 enterprise
Construction field experience in the industrial markets (power, mining, manufacturing or other related project experience)
Understanding of all major disciplines of work and knowledge of how work is sequenced and built, and interrelationships between disciplines
Understanding of all phases of a project (engineering, procurement, construction, startup) and the sequences and interrelationships.
Able to take plans, drawings, quantity takeoffs and conceptualize and build schedules - both in the bid/estimate phase and after award for working/production schedule.
Able to baseline and compare iterations and versions of schedules
Able to import/export from excel P6
Understanding of databases and database structures
High level of excel function - data manipulation, sorting, filtering, lookup type formulas, pivot tables.
Full understanding and mastery of P6 WBS, activity codes, filters, layouts & sorting
Able to produce reporting from P6 and understanding labor and material resources.
Able to meet monthly reporting deadlines and work with our master ERP/Controls systems to push/pull data with the P6 program
Able to find problems, data validation issues, and ensure everything balances between the ERP, the estimate, and P6, daily-weekly-monthly
Denver based position, would require travel to jobsites to support
Able to train and mentor rotational field engineers
Able to teach scheduling classes (for beginners)

Base Compensation: $130,000/yr - $153,000/yr
