Position Overview The Audit Senior is a key member of our organization and is responsible for leading and executing audit engagements for clients in a timely and efficient manner. This position requires a highly skilled and experienced individual with a CPA certification and knowledge in audit procedures, GAAP standards, and tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting
Review workpapers and financial statements for accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards
Conduct risk assessments and develop audit plans
Perform complex audit procedures and provide recommendations to improve internal controls and processes
Communicate with clients to gather information and address any concerns or inquiries
Train and mentor junior staff members
Stay updated on industry and regulatory changes related to audit and tax
Qualifications
CPA certification is required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit
Masters degree in Accounting is STRONGLY preferred
Strong knowledge of GAAP standards and audit procedures
Experience with tax research and preparation of tax returns is a PLUS
