Position Overview The Senior Preconstruction Manager will lead the planning and execution of preconstruction activities for commercial construction projects. The role involves collaborating with clients, architects, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery from concept through to construction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead preconstruction efforts for commercial construction projects from initial client engagement to final bidding.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to develop comprehensive project scopes and timelines.
Conduct thorough cost estimations and analysis to support project budgeting and financial planning.
Review and evaluate project plans and specifications to identify potential challenges and solutions.
Prepare and present project proposals and presentations to stakeholders and clients.
Coordinate and manage the bidding process, including subcontractor selection and procurement.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the preconstruction phase.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in preconstruction management, specifically in commercial construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, cost estimation, and project management software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
