Project Engineer - Structural Engineering - Multi-Family Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer specializing in Structural Engineering for multi-family and hospitality projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design and execution of structural components, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise the structural engineering aspects of multi-family construction projects.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project specifications are met.
Conduct structural analysis and design for concrete and podium structures.
Review and approve design documents, shop drawings, and material submittals.
Coordinate with project teams to resolve any engineering-related issues that arise during the construction process.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the construction industry, specifically with multi-family housing projects.
Strong knowledge of structural design principles and construction methods.
Experience with concrete and podium structure design is preferred.
Proficient in engineering software and tools relevant to structural analysis and design.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
