We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer in our dynamic Alexandria, VA office (Hybrid role.)Our team members are at the center of everything we do. We offer growth and stability in an ever-changing volatile environment.
Some of your responsibilities as a Senior Mechanical Engineer include the following:
Lead the technical development of HVAC systems for large and complex projects including Government, Science & Technology, Academic, Mission Critical and Commercial sectors.
Formulate design criteria, perform calculations, develop concept designs, specifications, and construction documents for high performance building systems.
Develops mechanical plans, specifications, and inspection reports as needed.
Technically involved in the resolution of design problems that may include performing filed investigation or inspections.
Knowledge and experience with mechanical calculations, equipment selection, ductwork layout, hydronic systems, and construction documents.
Attend field visits, develop visit reports, meet with contractors, as necessary.

Essential Skills & Requirements:
10+ years of designing HVAC systems in high performance facilities.
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience leading HVAC teams on technically challenging projects
Communication, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills
