Perform classical hand calculations of metallic & composite structures
Create stress substantiation reports and interface load documents for compliance with FAA regulations
Create certification reports for submittal to FAA DER
Create test plans and test reports for compliance with FAA regulations
Perform Finite element analysis using FEMAP/NASTRAN
What you need to qualify:
5+ years' Stress Engineering experience in the aerospace industry
Bachelor's Degree: Mechanical, Civil or Aerospace Engineering
Must have experience using different CAD Programs, free-body diagrams, classical stress analysis techniques and finite element analysis using FEMAP
Customer oriented to interface with customer during development phase of new products.
Leadership experience, a plus
