POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Business Systems Analyst will lead Monarch's data strategy through comprehensive process evaluation, software and system implementation, and optimization of data analytics. This role will be pivotal in driving strategic initiatives to maximize efficiencies and productivity within the Company.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Strategy and Evaluation: Develop and implement a holistic Single Source of Truth data strategy approved by the executive team.
Process Improvement: Provide strategic direction for enhanced processes, software, or reports to improve business functions.
Relationship Management: Interact with various Monarch division team members to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with business goals.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with data and system implementations.
Data Governance: Establish and maintain data governance policies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
Data Accessibility & Literacy: Ensure data accessibility across divisions and promote data literacy through standardized procedures and comprehensive training.
Data Migrations & Integrations: Oversee data migrations and lead the integration and implementation of new software.
Data Accuracy & Audits: Improve data accuracy through audit processes, standardized controls, and resolving data issues.
Technical Oversight: Manage the design, testing, and maintenance of software initiatives.
Report Writing & Analytics: Lead report writing capabilities and create best-in-class analytics (PowerBI, reports, etc.) for internal and external needs.
Technology & Trends: Stay informed of new technologies and industry trends to enhance Monarch's data strategies, integrating AI as appropriate.
Documentation: Continuously update SOPs to document process changes and data strategy.
User Training & Support: Provide training and support to ensure users are proficient with new systems and tools.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
6+ years of experience in database system implementation and management.
6+ years of project management experience.
Proven experience in a leadership role within business systems or data strategy.
Strong experience with Business Intelligence and report writing.
Expert skills in MS Excel, including Macros/VBA.
Thorough knowledge of the M365 Platform and cloud-based systems.
