Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a Functional tester that will be responsible for testing a data resiliency application for the enterprise. The tester will be responsible for in-sprint testing, regression testing and defect management. This role will be 100% hands and needs someone strong enough in SQL in order to write and read scripts, alter joins, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Working Knowledge of Defect management process, Risk Framework and mitigation, and Enterprise Testing standards
• Extensive expertise with QA Deliverables tool set - (Quality Center, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project/Excel)
• Expert in writing SQL queries
• Agile Methodology/SDLC
• Good Communication
• Self-starter and able to work independently
• Desired Skills
• Organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Highly motivated, able to work independently
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Experience with Global model

Must Haves:

• 4-6 years of Functional testing in agile lifecycle (does not need someone with lead experience)
• Extensive expertise with QA Deliverables tool set - (Quality Center, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project/Excel)
• UI testing
• Jira experience
• HP ALM or Qtest experience
• Can write basic SQL queries
• Agile Methodology/SDLC - comfortable working with an offshore team
• Good Communication
