Rate Range: $40/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
The Engineer will support the Systems Integration engineering team in the management of engineering projects.
In this role you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
Specific envisioned responsibilities include:
Assist with managing multiple aspects of Component Improvement Programs (CIP) throughout the lifecycle of the US Government Contract
Assist with managing US Government Contract Deliverables (CDRLs) and corresponding compliance by accurate and on-time submission across multiple-disciplines contracts ranging from Development, Production, Cost Reduction and Service
Assist with Data Management including Data Rights & Data Assertions aligned with Corporate Policy & Procedures and specific requirements of US Government Contracts.
Assist in development and execution of the Operating Rhythms to continuously improve program performance
Additional tasks include supporting program management efforts such as tracking program spending, and loading project plans and proposals into tools for tracking headcount, budgets, and spending
Essential Responsibilities:
Execute, with guidance from senior engineering resources, the analysis, design, test, or integration required to define, and support assigned components, assemblies or systems that meet business standards and program / product requirements
Prepare and present technical and business data to internal and external customers
Document and communicate results to Internal and External Customers
Participate on teams assigned to address specific organizational initiatives
Share CIP information and promote open dialogue
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Experience or familiarity with project management concepts/tools including: critical path, earned value management (EVM), and Microsoft project
