Job Description:

Job Title: Project Manager

Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 per year plus full benefits.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead and oversee the successful execution of our projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing project activities, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and building strong relationships with clients and team members. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership, effective communication, and a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Coordination: Work closely with the Project Coordinator stationed onsite to ensure seamless communication regarding daily activities and project progress.
  • Client Liaison: Conduct regular meetings with the client's Project Manager to provide updates on project status, specifically regarding apprentice hours and training hours.
  • Apprentice Management: Oversee the apprentice team's documentation, ensuring that all applications and entries in both internal spreadsheets and government systems are accurate and consistent, including verification of relevant dates.
  • Training Coordination: Organize and schedule necessary training sessions for team members, ensuring that all personnel are adequately prepared.
  • Expectation Management: Proactively manage client expectations regarding compliance inquiries and potential delays in responses, ensuring transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Team Engagement: Cultivate a positive and motivated work environment for the Project Coordinator and onsite team, recognizing the challenges of remote work and providing necessary support and encouragement.
  • Leadership and Influence: Exhibit strong leadership skills to instill confidence in clients regarding the guidance and recommendations provided. Address concerns promptly to maintain client trust and prevent project delays, especially concerning apprentice hiring timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Project Engineer or Labor Compliance in the construction or a related industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a focus on motivating teams and building strong client relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex project requirements and compliance challenges.
