Job Overview:

As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. This includes working closely with clients to assess their needs, providing tailored insurance solutions, and ensuring timely and accurate service. The position offers a flexible hybrid schedule, allowing you to work remotely for up to three days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and service a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including renewals, endorsements, and new business.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships by offering exceptional customer service and proactive communication.
  • Provide insurance advice and guidance to clients to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Review and assess client needs, risk exposures, and opportunities for coverage improvements.
  • Prepare and present proposals, and assist clients in selecting appropriate coverage.
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, resolve claims, and handle policy changes.
  • Ensure timely processing of all documentation and premium payments.
  • Stay current on industry trends, products, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver superior client service and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in commercial lines account management or a similar role within the insurance industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, underwriting processes, and industry regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Ability to analyze client needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple priorities.
  • Texas Insurance License (Property & Casualty) required.
  • Knowledge of agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
