Role Overview
Canyon Creative Studio is seeking an experienced Procurement Director to lead and optimize our sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain operations. This pivotal role is integral to ensuring that our Retail, E-commerce and Interior Design platforms are stocked with top-tier products that reflect our brand's ethos. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail, a strong network in the furnishings and decor industry, and a passion for curating exceptional offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing and Vendor Management
Establish new, and nurture existing, relationships with domestic and international suppliers, artisans, and wholesalers aligned with our aesthetic and quality standards.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure the best value while maintaining exceptional quality.
Identify and onboard new suppliers to diversify and enhance our product offerings.
Inventory and Supply Chain Optimization
Develop and implement inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels for both physical and online stores.
Collaborate with logistics partners to streamline shipping and fulfillment operations.
Partner with design, retail, and e-commerce teams to align procurement activities with project launches and sales goals.
Lead quarterly strategy meetings to refine procurement objectives in alignment with the company's growth plan.
Support Canyon Creative Studio's commitment to sustainability by sourcing eco-friendly and ethically produced materials where possible.
Process Improvement
Establish and refine procurement processes, documentation, and reporting tools.
Implement technology solutions to enhance efficiency and visibility in purchasing and inventory workflows.
Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards in sourcing and procurement activities.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably within the home furnishings or luxury retail sector.
Negotiation Skills: Proven expertise in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams while fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with procurement software, inventory management tools, and analytics platforms.
Adaptability: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $105,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus annual bonus opportunity.
