What You Will Do

You will be a critical part of the team responsible for designing the renewable resource projects that we develop as part of our campuses. You will identify and engage with the right partners, structure business relationships, collaborate with our power, engineering, and technology teams to ensure project success. This includes the development, and implementation of behind the meter resources and energy storage systems and strategies to support their integration and optimization to facilitate economic optimization and deliver against both workload and grid reliability service commitments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in renewable project development, development business models and contract structures, project management, and a deep understanding of the evolving energy market dynamics.
  • Oversee Lancium's renewables project development activities at Lancium campuses and in support of our broader growth.
  • Develop and establish partnerships to deliver our BTM and energy storage projects, simultaneously managing permitting, interconnection, tax negotiation, revenue contracting, and other development activities.
  • Partner with our power and engineering teams to ensure that designs and development result in the successful integration and management of resources across the campus.
  • Be an expert in evolving technology and market dynamics to facilitate Lancium continued solutions innovation across the renewable energy landscape.

What We Want From You
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience developing energy storage and solar projects and familiarity with energy storage technology and business models and contracts.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the energy or utilities sector, with a focus on energy storage solutions, grid management, and/or renewable energy integration.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale energy storage projects and teams.
