Salary: $20 - $25/hr (exact pay will be based on qualifications and experience)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Processor/ Assistant to join our growing company. This unique role combines the responsibilities of managing payroll operations with providing assistance to the executive team. The ideal candidate must be proficient in payroll administration and possess excellent multitasking and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing:
Provide administrative support to all employees and management
Collect, verify and input employee timekeeping records and attendance data.
Calculate wages, including regular, overtime, and special payments.
Process payroll using Jonas Construction software (will train), ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Apply deductions such as taxes, insurance premiums, and retirement contributions.
Generate payroll reports for management and assist with payroll audits.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees.
Maintain payroll records, including time sheets, tax forms and employee files; personnel files and electronic records.
Onboarding new hires and verifying I-9 documentation
Handling offboarding processes related to payroll.
Knowledge of Davis-Bacon certified payroll helpful.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Personal Assistant Duties:
Manage and maintain executive schedules, including appointments and meetings.
Handle confidential correspondence and communications.
Prepare and edit documents, presentations, and reports as needed.
Act as a liaison between the executive team and other departments or external contacts.
Perform all other duties as assigned by Vice President of Admin.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's in business, Finance, or a related field helpful.
Experience:
Proven experience in payroll processing or a related role (minimum 5 years).
Experience as a personal assistant or in a similar support role is helpful.
Must have professional appearance
Skills:
Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and communication.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with complete discretion.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
