Job Title: Director of Marketing and Ecommerce

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Marketing and Ecommerce to lead our digital marketing strategy and ecommerce operations. This key leadership role will oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, enhance customer acquisition and retention strategies, and drive online sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both digital marketing and ecommerce operations, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and optimize performance across multiple digital channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Lead and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital advertising (PPC, display, social media), email marketing, SEO/SEM, content marketing, and influencer partnerships.
  • Define and monitor KPIs to track the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to meet business goals.

Ecommerce Management
  • Oversee the end-to-end ecommerce experience, ensuring a seamless, user-friendly, and conversion-optimized online store.
  • Collaborate with the product, merchandising, and creative teams to ensure consistent branding, messaging, and promotional strategies across all ecommerce touchpoints.
  • Monitor ecommerce sales performance and customer behavior, using data to optimize the website, user experience, and product assortment for maximum profitability.

Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing and ecommerce team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Manage external external digital marketing agency
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, design, and IT, to ensure alignment on business goals and the successful execution of marketing and ecommerce initiatives.
  • Provide strategic direction and hands-on support to execute campaigns, optimize processes, and drive new growth opportunities.

Data-Driven Decision Making
  • Analyze marketing and ecommerce performance data, using insights to inform strategy, improve customer journeys, and drive ROI.
  • Leverage analytics tools (Google Analytics, Shopify, etc.) to monitor key metrics, including conversion rates, customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, and other critical ecommerce and marketing metrics.
  • Utilize A/B testing, customer surveys, and other feedback mechanisms to continually improve marketing strategies and the online shopping experience.

Budget & Resource Management
  • Own the marketing and ecommerce budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI on marketing spend.
  • Identify new marketing opportunities, emerging trends, and technologies to stay ahead of the competition and drive growth.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 5 years of experience in digital marketing, ecommerce, and/or retail marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in driving growth through digital channels (PPC, SEO, social media, email marketing, content marketing).
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and experience with website optimization and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
  • Experience with data analysis, A/B testing, and using analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.) to inform decision-making.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and drive results.
  • Exceptional communication and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a direct-to-consumer (DTC) or e-commerce-driven brand.
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing and brand partnerships.
  • Knowledge of advanced ecommerce analytics and customer segmentation.
