Looking to get into tech sales and have a love of real estate and new construction? As a BLDUP Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will prospect, qualify, and generate opportunities to support the overall growth of the business, by making contact with Senior Executives in sales and Marketing in the development, design and construction space.

BLDUP is dedicated to providing ongoing one-on-one personal training and coaching, where you will have the opportunity to develop skills in all aspects of sales: prospecting, B2B communication, and marketing.

BLDUP is the data source in the Boston market on real estate development, construction and design. We provide market insights and data throughout the value chain of real estate development. We allow for the entire CRE marketplace to monitor the development process: from land acquisition, site plan approval, financing, construction through top off and marketing and lease up. BLDUP has recently launched the industry's first software as a service (SaaS) business development and research platform for real estate professionals. This SAAS product, called BLDUP PRO, is already getting rave reviews from our initial user base which includes 650+ companies. Due to the amount of users on our site daily (70,000+) and our email database (65,000), we have a tremendous opportunity for a top notch sales person. Our extensive database and activity tracking are all the tools needed to help a motivated professional meet and exceed their goals as we are poised to grow nationwide and 10X BLDUP!

A little about the role:

  • Opportunity to grow a book of residual income that can equal six figures annually.
  • Conduct high volume sales prospecting to qualify leads through calls, emails, and social media from BLDUP's sphere of influence.
  • Creative marketing capabilities: Adobe photoshop, Hubspot, Mailchimp and G Suite (to name a few).
  • Work closely and collaboratively with founders and management team to quickly become part of the 'dream team' that will grow BLDUP nationwide.
  • Schedule and observe sales demonstrations and eventually conduct these sales calls yourself.
  • Qualify sales opportunities and set up daily appointments for the account executives to close business.
  • Learn the real estate and development business from a variety of cohorts, what their challenges are and relate it back to the benefits of the software.
  • Opportunity to learn new aspects of sales within a dynamic technological environment.

Requirements

A little about you:

  • Positive, no-quit attitude willing to do what it takes to succeed
  • Ability to work with and independently of a team.
  • Track record of high achievement in sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative talent: Email marketing, landing page creation, logo creation.
  • Desire to begin a sales career, even if you are not sure if sales is for you.
  • Experience in commercial real estate, design & construction is a plus
  • The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with peers who challenge you to be better and success you can own and point to within a close knit team.
  • The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals
  • Naturally curious and passionate
  • A naturally competitive person
  • The ability to deal with objections and rejection on a daily basis in which you treat them as problems to be solved and not insurmountable road blocks.
  • Bachelor's degree or associates and strong skill basis
  • Previous work experience in which you demonstrated the ability to meet or exceed your job requirements.
